MY FAV COACHES

Wise Master = Wise Players

Forging a good player

Like Leonardo, a good coach helps you polish and shape the player inside you, removing defects and enhancing your capacities.

There are many ways to skin a cat

Neven Spahija

Dusko Ivanovic

What the boss says goes

It is important to reach an understanding with your coach. If there is no 'feeling' and confidence, you'd better consider other alternatives. His capacity is unlimited to make the whole team work together and also each player individually. With him as coach two years ago I played my best season in my career. Ivanovic is incredibly hard but very fair and honest. My regards, Dusko.

Ivanovic the Great

Magnetismo y carácter

Dusko es toda una autoridad en el baloncesto. Te enseña a dar lo mejor que llevas dentro, a rendir al máximo.

My Masters

THE YUGOSLAV QUARRY

Inexhaustible source for European leagues and the NBA.

What great coaches I have known!
By luck or chance, out of those great Yugoslavian players many great coaches have emerged and I have been fortunate to work under their orders. Great teachers and great lessons of basketball. The Balkan youth teams are an inexhaustible quarry both of players and coaches.

FAV COACHES

LEGENDARY COACHES I

My coaches were great coaches: DARKO RUSSIAN,, DRAGAN SAKOTA, MIHAJLO BEBIC, DRAGAN JAKOVLJEVIC .... They were my coaches during my youth. I learned a lot from them: Thank you all for your help and knowledge.

FAV COACHES II

LEGENDARY COACHES II

More great names: JOVICA ANTONIC, MIHAJLO PAVICEVIC, ZMAGO SAGADIN (a hard worker and excellent coach with whom I improved my playing a lot).

New in the market

Pablo Laso

From player to coach. My first season in ACB Spanish Championship and his first training job. A new world for both, living great experiences and others more complicated. But above all, Pablo Laso is a great coach and he is also one of the finest persons I've met in my life. PABLO, THANKS FOR EVERYTHING!

My favourite ones

Only one? Impossible!

I learned a lot from everyone. Each coach has applied his personal vision on basketball teaching from a personal perspective and that enriches any player.

Velimir Perasovic, a great master

Again

Maybe fate gathered us again in Turkey to achieve great success with that great coach. He was a top-quality player and now as a coach he knows very well the psychology of his players
